I Love Papercrafting!
I first learned the art of papercrafting with stamps and ink over 20 years ago. (I’d heard about it before then, but just didn’t “get it” at first.) Then I took a break from stamping for about 10 years before returning to it.
Wow, had things changed! New products, tools, and techniques were available that made it quicker, easier, and more fun than ever to create beautiful cards (which was my primary interest). Everywhere I turned I was amazed and delighted with what I found.
I Love You Guys, Too!
What hadn’t changed (and didn’t surprise me) was the people I met and connected with through stamping activities. You, my fellow stampers, are creative and curious, caring and sharing, enthusiastic and encouraging, friendly and fun-loving, inspired and inspiring, helpful and heartful!
While you express your love for friends and family in many ways besides handmade cards, you also use your papercrafting magic for little acts of kindness toward people you don’t know and may never even meet, by donating cards for soldiers overseas, sending cards to sick children, teaching cardmaking to seniors, donating cards and supplies for special projects and fundraisers.
You’re a community I love being part of, which is the reason this page and my micro-business now exist.
Let’s Do This Together!
I, too, want to make stamping easier, quicker, more creative, and more inspiring! I hope to do this in 3 ways:
– by finding fun and beautiful supplies that I can share with you,
– by coming up with new and better tools for doing what we do,
– and by providing a place to share and encourage the “random acts of kindness” (aka RAK) that stampers are known for.
You’re making the world a better place, one card at a time. The world needs what you do now more than ever!
